Lush black silk and an eye-catching bamboo clasp form the perfect combination in these elegant clutch bags.

Made from upcycled black silk obi sashes worn by maiko (apprentice geiko) in Kyoto, these stylish clutches are the ultimate conversation starter.

Pairing beautifully as an accessory for both kimono and western wear, formal and casual occasions, they transcend culture and style. Carefully sewn to beautifully display the obi patterns, each bag has its own distinct personality.

The clasp tops are made using metal and bamboo, naturally varied in color, shape and knots.
Handles and shoulder straps also available to customize the bag to your liking.
Handmade in Japan.

This clutch features the intriguing design of a Japanese Yabusame archer as he prepares to shoot a bird. This style of ritualistic archery has its origins in the 12 century, when samurai engaged in it as military practice.
